Commercial activities and events

The Trust prohibits any activity where there is commercial gain from the land in our care, images taken at the site. This includes guided walks (where a fee is charged); food sales; tutored courses; filming or recording; fitness training (where a fee is charged to participants); professional dog walking; photographic shoots (including wedding and marketing photography).     Swithland Wood is an attractive and atmospheric area of Ancient Woodland, covering 170 acres. Rich in history and wildlife, it is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The Wood is an important habitat for a wide range of plant and animal species, with rocky outcrops and old quarries.
