Our Deer Barn Café serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams, cake, sandwiches, hot food and more!  Right at the heart of Bradgate Park, the café has a small indoor and a large outdoor seating area.

Here you will find light refreshments, including ice creams, and Hot and cold drinks.


The Deer Hut

The Deer Hut at the Deer Barn Tearoom

Located next to the Deer Barn Tearoom, The Deer Hut serves hot drinks and freshly made crepes and waffles. This outlet is cash only and is run by Alonzi Ice Cream.

Ice Cream sold in the Park

In addition to purchasing ice cream in our Café, Bradgate Park is also home to Alonzi's Ice Cream, which has been serving visitors to the Park for over 20 years under licence. Within the Park, their popular Ice Cream Tricycles stop along the carriageway during busy periods and school holidays.

Picnic Areas at Bradgate Park

In addition to our café, there are plenty of scenic spots to enjoy a picnic during your visit. Picnic tables are available near our three car parks and just off the main carriageway.

  • ❌ Do not feed the wildlife, as it can be harmful to their health and the environment.
